Disability Support Worker
CatholicCare's Disability & Aged Care Services has exciting opportunities for Disability Support Workers, from casual and contract position to permanent part-time positions both in the community and in residential settings across Canberra. The aim of these roles is to support people with disabilities to live independent and active lives within the community. Disability Support Workers are required to provide support in the areas of personal care, domestic assistance, social support and transport, with a focus on building on the individual's skills and abilities.
Minimum qualifications include a Certificate III Disability Work or equivalent, and experience in working with individuals with a disability. All positions involve shift work, sleepover shifts and some weekend work is also available. First Aid Certificate and Drivers Licence are required for this position.
Successful individuals will be paid at a level 2-3 of the CatholicCare Enterprise Agreement.
